A boat time for clarity... the story of hotlilfuntime Once upon a time about a decade ago, two boats, hotlilnumber and 1NSfuntime, passed in the night. They circled back, decided to lash together and embarked on a nine year journey through these lifestyle waters on their new combined vessel, hotlilfuntime. We navigated our new boat through sometimes murky waters, tempests in teapots, the odd squall, but mostly through fair winds and calm seas. We've had a few couples aboard, went to a few regattas and visited some interesting ports together, but alas, the bookings dropped off and we decided to cut the ties and settle in to our respective home berths. hotlilnumber was decommissioned and turned her radio off a year ago, but still can be viewed on this site. 1NSfuntime still sails and is open to the public, but is in dry dock awaiting a decision on funding for upgrades to his communication system. But the radio from hotlilfuntime still works like gold, and on occasion, those other two boats get together and take her out for a spin on the lake. The vessels are showing their age a bit these days... the beams are a little broader and there's a few creaks and groans, but they both look fine on their own, Very fine when they get together and they handle beautifully... and That, folks, is the short little history of hotlilfuntime.
